There are five ash trees on the right side of the park entrance. These trees determine the park-like character upon entry. We have a sad message about these trees. Three of the five ash trees unfortunately have to give way as a result of the construction work. In the foundation work of the padel courts, the roots of the last two ash trees are damaged in such a way that these trees become unstable. The third in line has to make way for a new entrance to the work area of our groundsman Herman.
We can imagine that many visitors to the park find this a very sad message. We think so too. At the moment, every effort is being made to see whether the loss of these trees can still be prevented, but we consider it unlikely that this will succeed. Incidentally, a closer study of these trees shows that there is also a natural decline.
