The renewal project of the outdoor courts last winter has almost been completed. For the first time in the Park's history, they are now "our" courts. This video gives a nice impression of the reconstruction of the Park Startbaan - renewal of the outdoor courts, relocating practice court, construction of 2 padel courts and the reconstruction of the changing rooms with the new passage to the billiard center.
The outdoor court project and dressing room project are almost complete. Reason to show the end result of the courts. And that is of course best done through the eyes of the club trainers. Park Startbaan has been closed since december 15th 2020 due to the coronapandemia. How long this forced closure period will last is still uncertain, but for the time being an extension has been decided by the government until February 10, 2021. It is uncertain whether the closure will be prolongated thereafter or not. After the reopening of the park, we will inform everyone
Dear tennis players and billiard players Sports at our park will not be allowed for the time being, until February 10th. It is a hard blow for everyone involved. But we have to accept this reality. We fully understand the decision of our government, convinced of the necessity. Hopefully more will be possible from February
The space of the two dressing rooms has now been completely “demolished”. The future walls are “drawn” on the floor with wood, after which the installer can start installing the underfloor heating after the holidays. (see picture)
There are five ash trees on the right side of the park entrance. These trees determine the park-like character upon entry. We have a sad message about these trees. Three of the five ash trees unfortunately have to give way as a result of the construction work.
