Although we consider the major construction project and the redesign of the clubhouse to be completed, a number of major and minor renovations have been completed recently.
In the round tennis hall, the walls have been lightly painted, which has led to a clear improvement in the light. Especially due to the addition of the reflected scattered light. The cove lighting has also been replaced with half the light intensity compared to the replaced fixtures.
The underside of the outdoor awning is beautifully varnished, resulting in a luxurious feeling.
And, there are new lights above the regular table that illuminate the table in the clubhouse.
Both electric doors at the entrance to the clubhouse are equipped with a “lock function”. We can activate the lock function in case of strong wind or large temperature differences. Both doors cannot then open at the same time.
This year’s program also includes replacing the asphalt at the park. This is expected to take place at the end of November. This project requires a number of organizational measures. The access and paths are then “under construction”.
We strive for alternative access to allow billiards and tennis to continue as usual. We will discuss this in detail in a next newsletter.
